Olá, vejam o seguinte cenário.

 

Servidor dedicado

3 Discos

 

1. SSD particionado com /boot / e swap

2. HDs montados em RAID1 particionado com /home

 

CentOS 6.6 Instalado na config. minimal

 

cPanel 11.48.3.0 instalado

 

Minha pergunta é, nesse aspacto o MySQL esta sendo executando onde? No SSD ou no HD.

 

Pergunto isso pelo simples motivo que:

/home ficam todos os arquivos do usuario, inclusive os binario do .sql que é executado pelo servidor do mysql. Porem o servico executa os binarios na raiz que seria o /

    mesmo os binarios estando no /home de outra particao em outro hd?

    Se o ambiente é cpanel, e a raiz está no disco SSD, então o SERVIDOR MYSQL está rodando no disco SSD porém os BANCOS MYSQL de cada cliente estará hospedado no outro disco.
