Estou rodando CentOS 5.6 x86_64.

Instalei o mysql e php tudo certinho. Mas quando inicio o mysql da esse erro ai...

Alguem poderia me dar uma dica do que está ocorrendo?

Segundo o erro ele informa que não consegue abrir a tabela mysql.plugin e pede para que rode a atualização do mysql.

Se você estiver usando o cPanel, pelo WHM você pode realizar essa atualização.

Qualquer dúvida estamos a disposição.

Não deu certo este tutorial, da o mesmo erro.

Então teria que analisar mais a fundo, irei ver se encontro algo na internet e lhe aviso.

WHM > Update Preferences > Selecione "STABLE Builds (Automatic)" e o "MYSQL > Inherit" e salve

WHM > Upgrade to Latest Version

Tente atualizar o cPanel. Ele irá atualizar o mysql junto. Veja se resolve.
