do you use the fiber that connects Fortaleza/Brazil to Europe? If you use it, you may have a very interesting ping response for example.

In question of PING no, many rent in Hetzner with location in Germany, if your route out acceptable, will get outputs.

Another issue we aim for is security, nowadays it is necessary to have infrastructures with data protection and mitigation.

If you want to reach the Brazilian public, always look for Miami or directly in Brazil.

The entire Florida route is good for us in Brazil because of the network intercommunication between Brazil x USA

So, even with our London DC being connected with Brazilian up links, you would still chose the Florida market?

Yes, routes would be even better through Florida than links from Europe.

London Colocation  or Cloud Hosting

There is the geographic angle, and there is the backbone angle. On geography, most Brazilian traffic flows thru US East Coast. Florida, Virginia, NY/NJ. But perhaps more importantly, most fixed and mobile subscribers are customers of Telefónica, TIM, Oi or Claro. So, having good connections to TIWS (AS 12956), Seabone (AS 6762), Globenet (AS 52320) and Embratel (AS 4230) is key to have good service towards Brazil. 

Usually that means US East coast colocation + some connections to US IXPs like NOTA (Miami) and Ashburn.
