SoftLayer irá investir 75 milhões na Europa

A SoftLayer anunciou a abertura de seu primeiro escritório na Europa e um data center em Amsterdã. Nos próximos dois anos, a empresa deverá investir cerca de 75 milhões de dólares nestas operações, que também incluem uma nova rede de PoP (point of presence) em Amsterdã, Londres e Frankfurt.

O investimento em suas operações européias irão permitir a empresa oferecer melhor performance e recursos aos seus clientes. Oficialmente, o DC deve iniciar suas atividades no começo de novembro. A maior parte dos 23 mil clientes da SL está fora dos EUA, distribuídos em mais de 140 países.
