Aqui também está perfeito, o único problema que tive logo após a atualização foram novamente alguns caracteres quebrados nos templates de e-mail, tanto no nome do cliente (ex. García, Márcio) quanto em palavras oriundas como crédito (Crédito) além de erros como ''�'' que antes consegui corrigir rescrevendo os templates manualmente e agora não mais.

 

Dá uma olhada no banco de dados, na collation que tá definida.

Há algum tempo atrás eu tive um problema mais ou menos parecido e era porque, por algum motivo, algumas tabelas estavam com um tipo de collation e o restante do banco de dados com outra. Foi só corrigir isto e tudo ficou ok.
