Since that time, we have worked to integrate SoftLayer and The Planet customers into a single platform with best features from both companies, while creating as little disruption for customers as possible. We recently made a difficult decision to retire operations on the second floor of our Houston 1 (HOU01) facility. While this location served The Planet well for many years, it simply does not meet the power density and redundancy levels necessary to provide the service that SoftLayer customers have come to expect from our data centers. We are contacting you because you have server(s) in this location. We must ask you to migrate to another SoftLayer facility before June 16, 2012. We know this is an inconvenience for you and your business. To ease the migration, we will provide you aggressive pricing, as well as the following incentives: • Two Months Free on any replacement SoftLayer server ordered by April 13, 2012 • One Month Free on any replacement SoftLayer server ordered by May 13, 2012 This migration can bring you a number of benefits, letting you: Leverage the automated SoftLayer platform and its innovative features The SoftLayer platform offers the industry's best dedicated hosting solution, with rapid server deployment times, system-wide automation, exceptional control through our Customer Portal and API, and the most powerful network in the country (over 2,000 Gbps of network capacity). Protect your business by upgrading to newer technology for a great price Hardware failure rates climb rapidly after four years of usage--this is why SoftLayer actively retires any server hardware cancelled after that lifespan. Your server is entering its twilight years and migration to new hardware will help avoid damage to your business from failure related to downtime or data loss. It is imperative that you respond to this email to begin discussion of the migration process. Please note, when you have completed your migration, you must submit an official cancellation of your original services through the customer portal. This will help us to avoid any reclaim or billing complications. Link para o comentário Compartilhar em outros sites
