Utilizo a ResellerClub para registrar domínios, através do módulo disponível no WHMCS.

 

Estes dias percebi que novos domínios registrados, possui uma seguinte mensagem no painel da ResellerClub.

 

 

Alguém mais notou ou está aparecendo esta mensagem? Realmente o cliente precisa ativar o domínio através de um link de ativação?

Não é só lá. Agora domínios .com (e afins) precisam que o e-mail utilizado no registro seja validado.

São as novas regras do ICANN:

 

 

The Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA) with ICANN lets us act as a registrar and sell top-level domain names (TLDs) to our customers. ICANN — the organization that manages the Domain Name System (DNS) — refreshes their RAA agreement every few years and all registrars are required to remain compliant to continually sell and manage domain names. The most recent changes require us to verify registrant and shopper contact information.

We require email address OR phone number verification if:

• A new domain is registered with unverified contact information.
• A domain registrant updates their shopper email address or phone number with unverified information.
• We are notified or have reason to believe that a shopper’s contact info is invalid.

Agora o que vai ter de cliente com domínio desativado.

 

O cliente mal acessa nossos emails, imagina um email da ResellerClub.

Recebi uma resposta da ResellerClub, é como o Isaac passou.

 

Só eu não recebi o email que eles enviaram avisando. :D

 

 

As per the new policies implemented by ICANN, on any Domain Registration, the registrant contact of the Domain name will receive an email from the Registrar for the verification of the contact details. If not reverted by the registrant within the 15 day time frame, the Domain will be put on hold by the Registry itself.

We have sent emails from our end to all our Resellers intimating this and you can refer the URL : http://blog.resellerclub.com/2013/12/12/impact-of-the-2013-raa-whois-info-verification/ for the details on the same.

Please check and inform all your clients regarding this verification procedure, so that they do not face any issues in the future.
