Dear carlos,

Yesterday, there was a window of emergency maintenance that was carried out on our platform that required that we switch from our primary databases over to back-up databases. During this time, access to the domain management control panel, API and the Supersite/Partnersites was unavailable. This did not impact existing domains or DNS resolution. The downtime lasted for a few hours and we were able to eliminate any data loss through our contingency plan and thanks to the efforts of our team.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused during this downtime. We made every effort to minimize the impact this would have on our clients and were able to restore full functionality on our standby servers. It is critical that we switch back to our primary databases as soon as possible. In order to accomplish this it will require minimal downtime to make the switch. This maintenance will impact accessibility of the domain management control panel, API and the Supersite/Partnersite. This will not impact existing domains or DNS.

This emergency maintenance will occur on Sunday, January 27th, 2013. The scheduled maintenance will begin at 04:30 UTC and is expected to last for 1 hour. We have taken measures to mitigate any problems and to ensure minimal downtime.
