    Bom eu não consegui resolver mantendo o charset em iso-8859-1.
    A solução foi mudar para UTF-8 mesmo.
     
    Tirei um tempo para corrigir os erros de caracteres que susrgiram após alterar o charset, principalmente nos modelos de e-mail.
